Local Arrangements

Conference Facility:

The conference and preceding short course will take place at the O'Callaghan Annapolis Hotel, in Annapolis MD.

Travel to Annapolis:

The airport servicing Annapolis is Baltimore Washington International (BWI). Please see their web site for ground transportation choices. The Annapolis Hotel is approximately 1/2 hour from the airport.

Driving to the hotel from most directions will involve US-301/US-50. If traveling from the north, west, or south, you will look for US-301 N/US-50 E toward the Annapolis Bay Bridge. Take exit 24 to merge onto MD-70 S/Rowe Blvd toward Annapolis S. Turn right onto Taylor Ave. At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto West Street. 174 West Street will be on your left.

Travel in Annapolis:

The O'Callaghan is less than a mile from shopping, historic Annapolis, and the Naval Academy, easily within walking distance. However, for the Social, the conference has made arrangements with eCruisers of Annapolis, a small electric car shuttle. Payment is in tips only. A VIP phone number for travel to an from the Social will be provided by the conference to ensure priority pickup. 

Update: eCruisers
The dispatch numbers for eCruisers are 443-481-2422 and 443-497-4769. The VIP Group code is ACAS. eCruiser operates on tips only. An approximate value for a tip is $2/person recommended. The VIP status is available only for Tuesday, all evening, to help people getting to and from the social. However, the eCruiser will take you anywhere around town you want to go. You don't have to come straight back to the hotel from the Social, nor do you have to pick up the eCruiser at the hotel or the Federal House Bar & Grill. Just call the dispatcher and arrange for service for your party.

Parking:

• There is parking available at the hotel for $18/day. 
• There is parking available at Knighton Garage at the intersection of West St. and Colonial Ave. right across from the hotel for just $5/day.

Arrangements have been made for a conference rate equivalent to federal government per diem at the O'Callaghan Annapolis Hotel.
